Springtime Magick
Springtime is a great time for exploring and practicing witchcraft! It is the perfect time to focus on renewal and growth. Celebrating spring is a magical time of year that can be approached with a lot of fun and creativity. Here are some ideas for witches to get the most out of the season...

Samhain- Spirits & Ancestor Magick in October
Samhain is, arguably, the most important of the Sabbats practiced by modern and ancient pagans. The end of summer (literally, that’s what it translates to) is here, the fields are bare and the cold is coming. It is a time for culling herds, hunting, final foraging, and preparation. The cycle of growth is over, the time of death is here. The seeds of the harvest are nestled within the earth, lifeless for now but holding the promise of the future.

Spring is in the air
The return of the sun, of warmth, of green leaves and birdsong; springtime is something everyone who deals with cold, bleak winters dreams about. It is a time of promise, change and cleansing. Spring magick can take many forms. Simply basking in the sun and taking simple enjoyment of its heat and the life it brings can be enough. A ritual bath to clear away the dark lethargy of winter can be a great idea. Pick soaps with bright citrus or floral smells to wake your mind or remind you of flowering fields. Something with exfoliation to it wakes up the skin while scrubbing away what is no longer vital. Candle meditations embrace the fire and heat of the sun and place it at the tips of your fingers.
